Reameizu learned about the battery capacity of Meizu 18 models through the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). It turned out that the battery with model number BA181 and capacity of 3910 mAh can belong to Meizu 18. The BA191 battery with 4855 mAh capacity can power the Meizu 18 Pro.

Meizu 18 series and Meizu Watch battery

Meizu is also working on a smartwatch called the Meizu Watch. The 007mAh BA420 battery that appeared in the CQC database appears to belong to Meizu Watch. It is not yet clear if it will officially go alongside the Meizu 18 models.

Rumor has it that the exact specifications of the Meizu 18 series have not been released yet. A recent report claimed that Meizu 18 could be equipped with Snapdragon 870 mobile platform, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 64+12+5+5 triple camera system. It is likely that Meizu 18 Pro could be equipped with Snapdragon 888 SoC. Expected that both models will feature punch-hole Samsung E4 AMOLED displays that support FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Flyme 9 UI will replace the Flyme 8 UI that was announced back in August 2019. Flyme 9 could be based on Android 11 for newer models and Android 10 for older models.
