Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P gets Multi-Map function via firmware update

Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P smart cleaning robot in countries like India. At the request of various fans, the company released a firmware update to enable Multi-Map support.

In a press release, the company says that the update with firmware version 3.5.8_0035 provides support for multiple cards. In fact, you can now save up to 10 different cards. In terms of non-software, the robot can build and save the cleaning area in real-time maps to make the process easier.

In any case, in order to update, the user needs to first update the firmware to the latest version. Follow these steps to update:

  • Open We Home Application-> Select Device (Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P)
  • Select "⋮" in the upper right corner and select the firmware upgrade option.
  • After updating, restart the app and the robot once.

To create new Maps and access them, you can do the following:

  • Creating a new map: Settings -> List of maps -> Create a new map.
  • Accessing a saved map: Settings -> List of maps.
