Sony, the PS5 maker, has finally announced its own dedicated cases for the best-selling console. The covers from the brand will be available in purple, black, red, pink and blue and will work on both the regular PS5 and the digital version of the console.
The company is releasing black and red console covers in January in major markets, with other colors coming in the first half of 2022. These new covers will match the colors found on the DualSense controller, which now comes in blue, pink and a new purple hue.
These new colors will be available in January, while the purple version will be available in the US, UK and Germany through the Sony PlayStation Direct Early Access program. For those who are curious, retailers will receive the purple DualSense controller starting February 11th.
Sony offers dedicated console covers for PS5!
In addition, Sony is also set to offer a black PS5 artwork starting January 21st on its PlayStation Direct online store, with other retailers getting the same on February 18th. We do not know the prices for the same goods as we do now.

When will bezels be available for purchase?

In terms of accessibility, the blog mentions that: skins for the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 consoles will be available from January 2022 at participating retail stores in the following regions: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal , Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea and the Philippines.
Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Starlight Blue PS5 covers will also appear in these locations in the first half of 2022.
