Samsung has launched its new line of flagship tablets, and it looks like this time around the Korean giant is very serious about making a tablet with the best performance, despite running the Android operating system. We think there is no better way to understand the possibilities Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + (the older version of the new line) than to compare it with the flagship tablets of other smartphone manufacturers.
Excluding Samsung tablets, the best tablets from the top brands in the smartphone market are Huawei MatePad Pro and the latest iPad Pro. note that iPad Pro 2020 comes in two flavors with 11- and 12,9-inch displays, which obviously have different prices.

Design
All of these tablets feature amazing aesthetics and the most beautiful designs you can find on the tablet market. They all have very narrow bezels around the displays, as well as a solid aluminum construction.
I personally like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + because it is thinner than its competitors. The Apple iPad Pro is lighter and the Huawei MatePad Pro is more compact due to its smaller display. They all support stylus, but the Galaxy Tab S7 + offers more advanced features and amazing performance, including 9ms response time, just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Display
The most advanced display on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 +. First of all, this is the only smartphone with an AMOLED panel. In addition, it has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the Huawei MatePad Pro does not. The iPad Pro is also 120Hz, but it comes with an IPS panel.
That's a very good IPS, but the colors provided by the Galaxy Tab S7 + 's AMOLED panel and its HDR10 + certification are capable of delivering better picture quality. Note that the Huawei MatePad Pro has a smaller 10,8-inch bezel, while the Galaxy Tab S7 + has a 12,4-inch bezel and the iPad Pro is available in two flavors with 11 and 12,9-inch bezels.
Hardware / software
On paper, the most advanced hardware division belongs to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 +, which is powered by the new Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. Regardless, iPad Pro can deliver very similar performance thanks to better optimizations to the iPadOS operating system.
It even comes with more interesting productivity features and more productivity apps than Android. Some professional apps are only available for iPadOS, at least for now. But don't forget that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + offers amazing desktop experiences, especially when connected to external monitors.
Camera
iPad Pro wins the camera comparison. It contains a triple camera on the back, including a LiDAR scanner that can track depth very accurately for AR and VR devices. The silver medal went to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + with an ultrawide dual camera.
The Huawei MatePad Pro still has a decent rear camera, but it falls short of both. Note that in each case we are far from phones with the best cameras and close to the average in camera performance.
Battery
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + has the largest battery, and should provide longer battery life on a single charge. Right after that comes the iPad Pro, which still comes with an excellent battery.
But the Huawei MatePad Pro is the only one that supports wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging. Plus, its wired charging technology is faster and delivers 40W of power.
Price
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + starts at $ 849 / € 900, the Huawei MatePad Pro (4G version) can easily be found for less than $ 589 / € 500, and the iPad Pro starts at $ 749 / € 899.
The Huawei MatePad Pro saves a lot of money, but it doesn't stand a chance against the competition. The iPad Pro has better cameras, a more interesting operating system for productivity, and amazing performance, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + has a better pen, display, and possibly even longer battery life.
