Microsoft recorded a significant increase in the number of subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass service. The tech giant reported in its second quarter financial results that it now has 18 million subscribers, up 3 million from the previous quarter.

Game Pass contains over 100 games that users can download and play on their consoles during the subscription period. They can also decide to buy games (at a discounted price) if they wish and continue playing even if their subscription has expired. After the subscription period has expired, games that have not been purchased can no longer be played.
Microsoft has acquired several game studios to grow its game library. The largest is Zenimax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, the publisher of The Elder Scrolls, Doom and Fallout games.
Xbox Game Pass isn't the only area where Microsoft has seen growth. The company said it posted quarterly revenue of $ 43,1 billion and net income of $ 15,5 billion, up 17 percent and 33 percent, respectively.
The new Xbox consoles, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, released last quarter and even the last quarter, are considered the most successful in the history of the company. . CEO Satya Nadella said they sold the most units in their launch month.
