Tencent blocks over 1,2 million hackers from PUBG Mobile in just 6 days for cheating

In its latest anti-fraud report Between January 8-14, 2021, the tech giant hinted that a total of 1 accounts were permanently banned during the period for using hacks and cheats.

About 48 percent of these hackers were banned for using auto-targeting hacks or modifying their character models. Twenty-two percent of hackers were banned for using X-ray vision, 12 percent for breaking speed, and seven percent for changing the area of ​​damage.

The report also shows what rank the hackers were in when they were banned. This distribution is as follows: bronze: 38 percent, silver: 11 percent, gold: nine percent, platinum: 11 percent, diamond: 12 percent, crown: 10 percent, ace: six percent, and conqueror: three percent.

Tencent also released patch 1.2 for PUBG Mobile last week, which introduced a new mode, weapons, and more. The new mode is called "Power of the Runes", which gives players specific options for preparing chicken dinner.
