Reportedly, Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset will enter Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone

Since Lenovo nearing the release of its first gaming smartphone - Lenovo Legion, details about the device continue to appear on the Internet. Now a new report hints at a possible launch timeline and chipset that will be used in a future device.

The report claims that Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone can run on Qualcomm chipset Snapdragon 865 Plus This is interesting, given that many expect the SD865 + chipset, some reports indicate that the company does not plan to release the Plus version of the flagship processor this year.

The company previously confirmed that the Lenovo Legion will support 90W fast charging technology, making it the world's fastest charging technology in a smartphone. Currently OPPO It has the fastest phone charging technology that supports 65 watts.

As for the technical specifications of the smartphone, it is rumored that it has a Full HD + OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, but the exact size of the screen is still unknown. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by an SD865 + or SD865 SoC.

It will be packaged in LPDDR5 RAM, which, as we expect, will have a capacity of up to 12 GB combined with UFS 3.0 internal storage. On the reverse side, the smartphone will be equipped with a dual camera, which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor.

On the front, the device will be equipped with a side pop-up mechanism for a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The phone will have Android 10 operating system out of the box, with the Legion UI gaming interface on top.

The gaming phone is reported to have a 3D cooling tower design with two thermal baffles for long-term cooling. They say that the smartphone 5G powered by a 5050 mAh battery and will come with a 45 W charger in the box.

In terms of launch, it is reported that the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone could be launched next month i.e. July 2020. However, there is no such confirmation from the company yet, but we expect Lenovo to confirm the launch date in the coming weeks.
