DJI Mini 2 Unboxing Video Showing Features and Design

Popular drone manufacturer DJI has recently been in the news for plans to launch a new mini drone called the Mavic Mini 2. The unannounced product was recently unveiled by a popular US electronics retailer - Adoramaand the product page states that it will be the Mavic Mini 2. However, this is not certain since the mini drone appeared in the review, thanks to an unboxing video posted on YouTube.

The YouTube video shows the retail box and drone, as well as accessories inside the retail box. What's most impressive is that the unit will be called the DJI Mini 2 as opposed to the Mavic Mini 2. We can guess what caused this change in naming sequence, but perhaps it should differentiate it from the more expensive Mavic series.

The DJI Mini 2 allegedly weighs only 249g, so it does not require registration in many countries that require registration of drones weighing up to 250g. It is also shown that the drone can shoot 4k video, but does not have ActiveTrak functionality.

The YouTube video also shows the drone is capable of flying up to 10 km and can stay aloft for up to 31 minutes.

DJI has yet to officially announce the Mini 2 (Mavic Mini 2, if you will), but given the smoothness of the leaks, we should expect a launch at any moment.
