Lava Agni 5G Smartphone Launched In India At Rs. 19999 ($ 270)

Earlier this year, local brand Lava returned to India with the Z-series models. It was a 4G-enabled smartphone that offered various configurations. But this company has higher goals and is not going to be limited to "obsolete" models. Many months later, the manufacturer launched the Lava Agni 5G in India. The latter is a classic mid-range smartphone that costs less than Rs 20000 ($270). This model should seriously compete with models such as Realme 8 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro series, Poco X3 Pro, iQOO Z3 5G and other phones that have the same price. So it's pretty interesting to look at his features and see how he's going to get his piece of the pie.

Main features of Lava Agni 5G

As stated, the Lava Agni 5G is the manufacturer's first 5G smartphone. Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. This 5G processor comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. But the latter supports microSD card expansion.

Also, our protagonist boasts a 5000 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. At the bottom, we can find the USB Type-C port, which provides faster charging and data transfer. Interestingly, the company also retained the 3,5mm headphone jack. At the back we have a four-camera module that sits inside a rectangular module. The system consists of a 64-megapixel main camera lens, an ultra-wide-angle 5-megapixel lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro photography.

The 6,78 inch Full HD + IPS LCD screen has a hole-punch design. In the area of the bangs, there is a 16 MP front camera. In addition, its screen supports a refresh rate of 90Hz. The aspect ratio of the screen is greater than 91,7%. Due to the material of the LCD screen, the fingerprint sensor is located on the side. But it also supports AI Face Unlock.

In terms of connectivity, Lava Agni 5G supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, 3,5mm headphone jack, etc.

By the way, many specifications do not correspond to early rumors.

At the moment, you can only choose one storage option. It combines 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Lava only released the phone in blue. This version costs Rs. 19. However, users who pre-order the device before November 999 at the Lava online store will pay Rs 17 less. Finally, from November 2000, the phone will go on sale at Flipkart, Amazon and Lava online stores.
