Lenovo YOGA Tab 13 Gets FCC Certification, May Be Launched Soon

In early March, we saw Lenovo working on a premium tablet in the Yoga lineup and could release it soon after almost a year and a half. Now the same YOGA Tab 13 has appeared on the FCC certification.

A Lenovo device categorized as Portable Tablet Computer with model number YT-K606F is listed on the FCC database. This model number has already been listed on the Google Play Console and its name has been identified as YOGA Tab 13. In any case, the listing indicates that the device will support Wi-Fi 6 5 GHz, Bluetooth LE.

In addition, the label inside the FCC report indicates that the device is manufactured for Lenovo in China. Also, one of the schematic diagrams shows that the power button, volume buttons are on the right. Lenovo has released its latest YOGA tablet, Lenovo YOGA Smart Tabback in September 2019. It had an entry-level Snapdragon 439 chipset.

However, the newly certified YOGA Tab 13 appears to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Geekbench listing also says that up to 8GB of RAM will be connected to the chipset. The YOGA tablet is also said to be running the latest Android 11 OS.

The 2019 YOGA Smart Tab had a 10,1-inch display with 1920x1080p resolution, but the 2021 version is said to take it a notch higher. According to Google Play Console listings, the tablet will have a 2K display.

This display is likely to have a resolution of 1350 x 2160 pixels and 240 dpi. Also, as the name suggests, we can expect a huge 13-inch display, but this has yet to be confirmed. We will wait for more information in the coming days.
