Design
Both the Redmi K40 Pro and Vivo iQOO 7 have a great design. They are equipped with a non-invasive camera module, a large screen-to-body ratio and a perforated display with narrow bezels. But the BMW iQOO 7 version is simply outstanding. The BMW Edition features a unique design including a stripe with the brand colors. The Vivo iQOO 7 has a more compact body than the Redmi K40 Pro, but the latter is thinner and lighter despite its larger battery. Plus, with the K40 Pro, you get IP53 certification, which proves the phone is splash and dust resistant.
Display
The displays of Redmi K40 Pro and Vivo iQOO 7 have similar specifications. In both cases, we are talking about high-quality displays, not flagship-grade panels. The phones have a built-in fingerprint scanner. Apart from a good display, the K40 Pro is equipped with stereo speakers, while the Vivo iQOO 7 does not.

The base variants of the Redmi K40 Pro and iQOO 7 in China cost around € 480 / $ 580. We cannot pick a final winner for this comparison because it depends on your actual needs. I would personally choose the Vivo iQOO 7 because of its 120W fast charging technology and better cameras: it is a more innovative phone and I believe it offers a higher value for money, especially because of its cameras. On the other hand, the Redmi K40 Pro offers more satisfying battery life, stereo speakers and IP53 certification, making it splash and dust resistant.
