The TicWatch Pro S is a stripped down and cheaper version of the TicWatch Pro 3.

Mobvoi announced a new smartwatch. Called TicWatch Pro S, this is a more affordable version of TicWatch Pro 3 (or an upgraded version of TicWatch Pro) and there are some trade-offs with that cheaper price.

TicWatch Pro S featured

The TicWatch Pro S has the same dual layer display we've seen on other professional models. The top screen is the LCD screen for the main mode, and below it is the AMOLED screen for the smart mode. Both screens are 1,39 inches. The former is highly readable in sunlight and only displays the most important data such as time, date, steps taken and heart rate. The battery life of the watch in this mode reaches 30 days.

Smart Mode works on Wear OS, and in this mode you have beautiful watch faces, access to apps from the Play Store, support for Google Pay and Google Assistant. In this mode, the battery life is reduced to 2-5 days.

Some of the new features the watch gets over the original TicWatch Pro are YicExercise 3.0, which includes Vo2 Max, running lap counter, heart rate range indicator, redesigned user interface; TicSleep 2.0 for better sleep monitoring with more detailed data; TicBreathe, which monitors your heart rate, changes in stress and helps you relax with breathing exercises; and TicHearing, which measures ambient noise levels from 30 dB to 120 dB and alerts you to sounds that can damage your hearing and nervous system.

The TicWatch Pro S is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, IP68 rated, Bluetooth 4.2, 2,4GHz Wi-Fi, 415mAh battery and MIL-810G rating.

It retails for $ 259 and is available in black. It can be purchased from today on the official Mobvoi website in the US, UK and Europe, as well as Amazon.
