Chinese smartphone maker vivo has announced the release of 11 smartphones in India by April. Some of these phones are expected to be the premium vivo X60 series and the mid-range vivo V20 series. Low-end vivo Y series models may also be listed. One of these available devices has been spotted on Geekbench and EEC.
According to PriceBaba, smartphone live with model number V2044 has passed the EEC certification. The publication believes that this phone is a device of the vivo Y series. Since its model number differs from the number of vivo Y20 (2021) by only one digit (V2043). Hence, it can be either a successor or a simplified version of an already official phone.
Moreover, according to Geekbench, this smartphone will run on MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. It will come with 3GB of RAM and run Android 11 ( Funtouch OS 11 ]) right out of the box. However, there may be other storage configurations.
The phone scored 137 points in the single-core test and 451 points in the multi-core test, respectively.
While nothing else is known about this device, we can expect the vivo V2044 to come with a large HD + display, triple camera, huge battery, dual SIM, microSD card slot and 3,5mm headphone jack.
