OnePlus Watch Design Recognized by the German Patent and Trademark Office

OnePlus is expected to debut in the world of dual-product smartwatches this year. In anticipation of the launch, many leaks appeared on the network about them. Now, another leak reveals a possible OnePlus Watch design courtesy of Techniknews.

OnePlus patented a smartwatch design at the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO). Although OnePlus has not yet confirmed the design, the patent description showsthat OnePlus Technologies filed it themselves. This suggests that the round dial design may be final as it leaked earlier.

Speaking about the design itself, one of the sketches shows a round dial with a convex bracelet (s). There are two buttons on the right side, probably for navigating the user interface. There are sensors on the back that can be used to measure heart rate, blood oxygen, blood pressure, etc.

Two points of contact are also visible below them, probably for a magnetic charge. The report says it could be a "sports version" of the OnePlus watch.

The second design, however, is already known to us from various leaks. It has a bezel that expands slightly outward, as well as a different strap design. That is, we can notice a new clip on one end of the strap, the functionality of which is a little unclear at the moment.

Except for this, other areas such as button placement and gauges look the same as mentioned above.

The OnePlus watch (Model: W501GB) is rumored to be released sometime in March and both have already received certifications. The company will presumably release a watch called OnePlus Watch RX with a round dial (for example, Oppo Watch RX) as well as a square watch (Model: W301GB).

Cyberpunk Limited Edition is also being developed. On the software side, it will likely host the internal user interface rather than the Google Wear OS thanks to leaks.
