OPPO A15 listed on the SIRIM Malaysia website; Global launch is imminent

Back in October, OPPO unveiled the OPPO A15 smartphone in India. On the eve of the launch, the device, along with the A15s, was marked with several certificates. Now, the alleged OPPO A15s sibling appears on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, which suggests a global launch.

According to Mukul Sharma, the device with model number CPH2179 appears in the SIRIM database. Now, a month ago, a device with the same model number has appeared on the Singapore IMDA certification and the OPPO-listed European EEC certification. And among this on the IMDA website it was discovered that the device would be named A15s.

Returning model number Set as a mobile station with support for GSM, LTE. This means the A15s will ship with 4G supportas well as the A15. Not to mention, this device has recently passed BIS certification in India. All this indicates that the device may soon enter the world market.

In addition, we think that the "s" in the name of A15 suggests that it may share characteristics with OPPO A15... However, we're not entirely sure if this will be a rebranding of OPPO A15 for other markets because their model numbers (CPH2185, CPH2179) are different. In any case, OPPO has not confirmed anything about this device, so take this assumption with a grain of salt.
