One for the future: Samsung Display teases foldable phone in three

Worldwide technology leader in foldable phones Samsung offers a polished clamshell foldable in the Galaxy Z Flip and a much improved larger screen in the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Shows groundbreaking work in foldable spacecraft. that this move allows you to enlarge the tablet display Samsung Display

Samsung Display may have given a hint of future foldable phone designs, as it recently introduced a multi-fold design. The attached photo shows a foldable gadget with a Z-folding mechanism, in which the left third of the display folds inward and onto the front of the center third. Moreover, the right third of the screen can be folded back behind the center third of the display, thus providing a compact device compared to rigid displays.

A foldable display has several advantages. Of course, the user will have a lot more options for working with the tablet when unfolded compared to the current foldable. The design is also unlikely to lead to the unsatisfactory quality of the phone that was noticed many years ago when the original Foldable was installed with its very small screen phone.

The most important issue for the multi-fold design that Samsung offers is its reliability and durability. Foldable phones of the first generation had serious problems with hinges, so adding a second hinge also presents significant challenges that must be overcome prior to making such foldable displays.

Many people may decide to buy a foldable phone for various reasons, especially if the price is good and the phone is durable enough. However, there are many others who may prefer other folding options, and others are still completely uninterested in folding items of any color.

It's possible that introducing a second fold point will result in a second fold in the display, but that's just a minor issue since Samsung introduced a nice fold with the Galaxy Z Fold 2 offering.

Samsung Display has not announced a release date for foldable phones with the ability to fold multiple elements. But we expect Samsung to be the first manufacturer to take advantage of this technology. ( via)
