Samsung trademarks "Galaxy Space" may appear on VR headset

Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy S21 series earlier than in previous years. Three smartphones of this series are expected to debut in January. Ahead, these devices began to receive certifications from several bureaus. In addition, the South Korean tech giant recently registered a trademark called "Samsung Blade" that it can use for the Galaxy S21 series. Now there is another newly registered trademark of the company called "Galaxy Space".

Samsung Electronics filed an application for the "Galaxy Space" trademark with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) on October 22nd. And it was approved and published on October 26th.

This new Samsung trademark classified as Class 9 applies to the following devices:

  • Virtual reality headsets
  • LED displays
  • Routers
  • Digital door locks
  • Chargers for portable phones
  • Tablet PCs
  • Portable computers
  • Video projectors
  • Smart watch
  • Smartphones
  • Audio speakers

According to LetsGoDigitalSamsung may use this trademark for a virtual reality headset. This is because virtual reality of that name, running a 32-bit Windows 10 Home operating system with 8GB of RAM, has visited geekbech in July 2019.

In addition, there is a chance the company could use it for monitors as it already sells monitors under the Samsung Space brand. Whatever it is, we'll find out in the coming days if Samsung is really going to use it.
