And while a launch date for new Apple devices has yet to be confirmed, many more phones are already scheduled to launch this month. The Huawei Mate 40 series will be officially announced at the Huawei Developers Conference on September 10. During the conference, Huawei is also announcing the customization of EMUI 11 based on Android 11. The Huawei Mate 40 will be the last. series of smartphones equipped with the Kirin chipset: Huawei can no longer produce its chipsets due to the US ban. The SoC on which the new lineup is based will be the Kirin 9000, which may be available in limited quantities because the partnership between Huawei and TSMC (the company that makes Kirin chipsets) will end on September 15th. The Huawei Mate 40 series is expected to include phones with 90Hz, resolutions up to Quad HD + and display sizes up to 6,78 inches.

Apple has yet to announce the exact launch date for the iPhone 12 lineup, which includes the most anticipated smartphones in September 2020, but the latest rumors have it that it will launch this month despite concerns over Covid. The series will include at least four models with different display diagonals, including 5,4, 6,1 and 6,7 inches.

The high-end models are expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate and the same LiDAR scanner as the latest iPad Pro. These will be the first iPhone 5Gs powered by TSMC's Apple A14 mobile platform.

Following the launch of the Pixel 4a, Google is preparing to launch the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. Unlike previous years, this year we will only get mid-range Pixel phones. Both phones should have the same camera department, including a 363MP Sony IMX12,2 main sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. There will be a main display at the top 90 degree bend, as well as another display behind it. This is what we already saw many years ago with flip phones, where some devices could have their screens rotated up to reveal the keyboard. But this time the keyboard will be replaced with a secondary display.

The Realme 7i is the third phone in the Realme 7 series and will be an entry-level device launched on September 17 alongside the regular Realme 7 in Indonesia. The phone has an HD + 720 × 1600 pixel perforated LCD display. Like the Realme 7, it supports a 90Hz refresh rate. But instead of the Helio G95 chipset, users will get the Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The rear camera will include a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a pair of 2MP lenses, while the front will house a 16MP selfie camera on a perforated display. Another great feature is the 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The POCO M2 is set to debut in India tomorrow, September 8th. The company has already confirmed some of the specifications for the new mid-range. The POCO M2 will feature a Full HD + display with a dewdrop notch, 6GB of RAM and four cameras. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor. It should come with a polycarbonate body, a 5020mAh battery and different colors to differentiate it from the Redmi 9 Prime as it will have very similar specs.

Its specs include an IPS display with a whopping 120Hz refresh rate and a huge 5160mAh battery. The phone is powered by the new Snapdragon 732G chipset, which is an upgrade to the Snapdragon 730G, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 internal storage. It supports NFC and features four rear cameras including a 682MP Sony IMX64 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a pair of 2MP lenses.
