Android 11 Beta Available for Some Pixel Smartphone Users

Google was ready to release a beta version of Android 11 this month, and the company also planned an online presentation for the same on June 3. Soon after, the company announced that the event was postponed, as well as all the negotiations of Google I / O developers that the company planned to release.

However, some owners of Pixel 4 XL smartphones say they have received the new Android 11 Beta update. New Android 11 beta 1 has build number RPB1.200504.018, but at present it is apparently not yet available.

The new beta 1 update for the next major Android version is expected to ship with the final SDK and NDK APIs. It is also expected that the company will open a publication on the Play Store for apps targeting Android 11.

The update adds several new features, such as the ability to include multimedia controls from quick settings, configure power menu options, offer dock applications in Pixel Launcher, new icon shapes and much more.

Initially, Google planned to release a beta version of Android 11 in May 2020, but postponed the update to June 1, and instead released Android 11 Developer Preview 4 (DP4). But the official release of the update was again delayed, and the company has not yet revealed new dates.
