Huawei MatePad Pro 5G, released in China, starts at $ 747

Huawei released the MatePad Pro 5G tablet in its domestic market in China. The 5G premium tablet was previously introduced to the global market in February 2020, but has not yet been released. Thus, the product will go on sale first in China.

Huawei MatePad Pro 5G is available in 8 GB of RAM with options of 256 GB and 512 GB of UFS 3.0. The 8 GB + 256 GB version costs $ 747, and the 8 GB + 512 GB version complete with a keyboard and stylus costs $ 952. Models are already on sale at Vmall and will go on sale on June 11th.

The MatePad Pro 5G is truly a flagship tablet because it is equipped with the Kirin 990 chipset. The tablet has a built-in nano SD card slot, which can be used to expand storage if necessary.

The tablet is equipped with a 10,8-inch IPS LCD display with a 90% screen aspect ratio, rounded corners and a cutout that houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The display has a resolution of Quad HD + 2560 × 1600 pixels and a color gamut of DCI-P3.

The tablet is equipped with a huge battery capacity of 7250 mAh, which supports fast charging 40 watts. However, the device comes with a 20W fast charger. There is also built-in support for 15 W wireless charging and 7,5 W reverse wireless charging. It is running EMUI 10 with Android 10 OS.

The back of the device is made of high quality metal panel. On the back is a 13-megapixel main camera with an f / 1,8 aperture. It comes with features such as phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The device comes with support for the 4096 M-Pencil pressure sensitive stylus. You can charge the stylus wirelessly by simply connecting it to the device.

Other features include Histen 6.0 sound support, four-way speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (LTE only) and USB-C. No fingerprint scanner and 3,5mm audio jack.
