Xiaomi, which has already launched speakers on its domestic market, is now about to launch another in China on May 21. The company has confirmed that the upcoming speaker will work on XiaoAI's smart assistant.
Along with the announcement of the launch date for the next smart speaker from the company, Xiaomi also announced that so far the company has sold more than 22 million speaker units based on XiaoAI's smart assistant.
As for the future speaker, the company currently does not have available information, and it has not been leaked online. However, the official launch will take place in just a couple of days, so this is not a long wait.
The company previously released the Redmi XiaoAI Speaker Play along with the Redmi K30 smartphone in China a few months ago. It costs 79 yuan (about $ 11) and comes in white, blue, green and pink.
Redmi XiaoAI Speaker Play offers users the latest generation of Bluetooth Mesh, making it a good option for managing smart home products such as smart door locks and light bulbs.
It also comes with built-in third generation “little love classmates” to support Little Love Male Voice. The speaker also has its own new voice recognition, which listens to sound and better understands the user over time.
