Xiaomi Twitter Account MIUI on Twitter published an invitation to the MIUI 12 Global event. The event is planned to be held May 19 at 20:00 GMT +8, and the Chinese company will reveal all the details of the custom ROM. 
MIUI 12 was first announced at the launch of the Mi 10 Youth Edition in April. Xiaomi later released the MIUI China Closed Beta update in China, with a stable update expected in June. The tech giant has also begun recruiting MIUI 12 pilot testers for the Redmi K20 series in India. So with this latest announcement, we expect to know the details of the MIUI 12 global release as of the launch date. Chinese and global MIUI ROMs usually have different release dates. 
The new MIUI 12 features an updated Dark Mode 2.0 control center, battery management app, file manager, Notes app, calendar app and more. It also comes with new always on display themes and several features. Read our launch article for more details on the new ROM.
