Earlier today, Xiaomi officially unveiled MIUI 12, and related devices have just started receiving closed beta updates in China. Stable release of the first batch of devices is expected only by the end of June. However, the company has already begun work on MIUI 13, the successor to the recently announced latest version of the firm’s mobile operating system.
Detailed information about MIUI 13 comes directly from Xiaomi and is not a rumor. MIUI user research group shares publication on Mi Community China shortly after launch MIUI 12. This publication encourages interested users to participate in the feature development survey for MIUI 13.
The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet released stable MIUI 12 updates for its devices, but it has already begun work on MIUI 13which is likely to release next year. This step Xiaomi clearly repeats the popular quote: “Initiation has no limits.”
The head of MIUI began his presentation, stating that "software is the soul of mobile phones, and to some extent more importantly, that this is equipment." This clearly shows how committed Xiaomi is to its mobile operating system. In fact, without MIUI there would be no Xiaomi phones
