Samsung India introduces customer service through WhatsApp amid COVID-19

Amid a pandemic COVID-19 people were stuck at home and couldn’t go out a lot, especially in a country like India, which is one of the most affected countries in the world. Thus, Samsung India has developed a new customer service plan.

South Korean giant introduced customer service to Indian users through WhatsApp in order to quickly resolve consumer requests without the need for them to leave home.

This new service will be available by Samsung WhatsApp support number (1800-5-SAMSUNG) from 9:00 to 18:00 seven days a week. The company also said that users can use this service to receive technical support related to any Samsung product, to obtain information about the location of service centers, repair status, new offers, and to request a demonstration and installation of Samsung products.

Samsung’s WhatsApp customer support service complements the other “contactless” services that the company already offers - remote support, live chat, help in the call center, and do-it-yourself videos.

In the meantime, the company is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphones next month, possibly on August 5th. Alongside the Galaxy Note20 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphones, the company will also release Galaxy Watch 3.
