Group OPPO was announced over six months ago in China. Still OPPO has not yet introduced the device to other markets, but that may change soon when the fitness tracker is certified in Europe.

The European Economic Community (EEC) certification showed that the OPPO Band has been certified today, indicating that it may soon be announced for global markets. The certificate also states that the fitness tracker has model number OB19B1.

The OPPO Band is equipped with a 1,1-inch AMOLED display with 126x294 pixels and 2,5D glass on top. The fitness tracker is equipped with a heart rate monitor, a blood oxygen sensor that works even while you sleep, and can track up to 12 different sports, including indoor and outdoor running, rowing, elliptical trainer and badminton.

The fitness tracker comes with a 100mAh battery and OPPO claims it will provide up to 14 days of use. It is equipped with a mobile contact charger and it takes 1,5 hours to fully charge.

The OPPO Band is sold in China in three versions. The standard version costs 199 yen, while the second version, called OPPO Band Fashion with NFC, sells for 249 yen. The third version, called OPPO Band Eva, costs 299 yen. OPPO will most likely only announce the standard version for the international market.

There is no information on a launch date, but we will not omit it until OPPO announces it alongside the Find X3 series due out in March. OPPO may also decide to announce this earlier.
