Motorola Moto G71 5G to launch in India on January 10

Motorola unveiled many smartphones last November. Namely, the company introduced Moto G31, Moto G41 5G, Moto G71 5G. However, not all of these devices have made it to the Indian market. The missing piece, the Motorola Moto G71 5G, will finally hit the subcontinent next week. The confirmation came from Motorola, and according to the company, the Moto G71 5G will enter the market January 10. Starting next week, buyers in India will receive the company's best deal for the mid-market. ... So Motorola may be planning the next big project - the Moto G72 5G.

Unfortunately, the company did not disclose pricing information for the upcoming device. However, he has confirmed a partnership with Flipkart to sell the new smartphone. It will be sold in the country in green and blue.

Moto G71 5G specifications

Since the device is already available in select markets, we already know what it has in tow. For example, the Motorola Moto G71 5G boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5 SoC. Qualcomm unveiled this chipset earlier this year and has not yet seen widespread adoption. However, the G71 5G will be the first Indian smartphone on this platform. It is manufactured using a 6nm manufacturing process and provides 5G connectivity. However, there is little benefit from this connection in India so far, but that may soon change.

The Moto G71 5G sports a 6,4-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen with a punch-hole in the center. The notch houses a 16MP selfie camera. Coming back to the back, we have a fingerprint scanner. In addition, there is a triple camera system with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macroblock. It's nice to have an ultra-wide shot, as some mid-range and low-end smartphones neglect this device in favor of the not-so-useful macro + depth combination.

The Snapdragon 695 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the device running Android 11 is outdated. Motorola doesn't really care about Android updates as it only promises one update for its flagships. Anyway, the Moto G71 5G should be updated to Android 12 sometime this year and that's it. Don't wait for further Android 13 updates.

In terms of design, the Moto G71 5G has a water-repellent construction that should be able to withstand rain drops and some places. The device has a 3,5mm headphone jack and a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.
