Last month, there were reports that Google may launch the new Chromecast Ultra device, which will be based on the Android TV operating system. Now more information about the device has appeared on the Internet.
Dubbed Sabrina by Google, the upcoming device is an Android TV gadget. It has an ellipsoidal design that is slightly taller than the current device chromecast... Due to the leaked images, the device displays a large "G" symbol and it will be available in three color options - black, white and pink.
The device will also come with a new remote control and from the images it looks very similar to the Daydream View. In addition to the ring navigation, there are six buttons on top - back, Assistant, home, star / favorites, play / pause and mute.
Another interesting detail leaked online is the content-based update to the Android TV interface. Some posts indicate that Android TV may be renamed to Google TV, which launches this new device.
The upcoming product, codenamed Sabrina, is reportedly powered by Amlogic chipset and will support Dolby Audio. While some reports say that Nest offers branding for the device, the name of the retailer still remains under the heading.
The leaked images show that the home screen of the software has a top bar where the search box is present in the upper left corner. Then you get options like For You, Movies, TV, Live, Applications, and My Library. The layout looks very similar to the current Play Store layout at Android TV.
