Now y 91mobiles There is some new information on the upcoming Narzo series of smartphones, and consultant Mukul Sharma or @stufflistings on Twitter will share the Realme Narzo 9i's color and memory options. The device is likely to be released in the first quarter of 2022 and is rumored to be rebranded as Realme 9i.

According to the information, Realme Narzo 9i will be available in at least two colors, which will be named Prism Blue and Prism Blue.

In terms of storage, the device will be sold in 4GB and 6GB variants with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, respectively. Although this has not been confirmed, the device may come with expandable memory.

Realme will equip its budget offering with a 6,5-inch display. No surprises in this department as the device will still have a regular IPS LCD.

Confirmation comes thanks to a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. What's more, there are rumors that the device will feature a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. This is in line with most mid-range smartphones on the market.

The leaked renders also show a triple camera array. Apparently, the main camera will be 50 MP, but it is not clear if this is from Sony or from Samsung at 50 MP. The device has a perforated chamber with the usual top-left alignment.

What else do we know about the device?

As stated earlier, the Realme 9i won't have 5G connectivity. However, other devices in the lineup are expected to feature 5G chips. Curiously, the device has Android 11 instead of Android 12.

This is a serious problem for some users who prefer the most recent OS version available. This is pretty curious as the upcoming flagships will likely bring Realme UI 2.0.

Be that as it may, the renders confirm the presence of a 3,5mm headphone jack at the bottom, next to the speaker grill and the USB-C port. This port will be used to charge the 5000mAh battery, although details on the charging speed have yet to be released.

Larger devices will likely ship with 65W fast charging, but we don't know if this will be the case for the cheaper model.
