Lenovo Legion 2 Pro has 10% more battery than Legion Pro

Lenovo is launching the successor to the Legion Pro, the Legion 2 Pro, in China on April 8. With less than 5 days left until launch, the company confirmed today that the Legion 2 Pro will have similar charging tech and a slightly better battery.

In a Weibo post Lenovo confirmed that the Legion 2 Pro will ship with a 5500mAh battery and 90W Super Flash charging. Battery capacity is about 10% higher than that of Legion prowhich is 5000 mAh. Speaking of charging technology, it is unclear if it will be a single 90W or split into two 45W chunks.

A few weeks ago, the Lenovo L70081 5G device, presumably the Legion 2 Pro, received 3C certification in China. It turned out that the device supports 65W and 45W charging protocols. In addition, the predecessor had two USB-C ports and therefore supported charging up to 90W.

If the model continues, then the successor Lenovo Legion 2 Pro may also have the same implementation, but let's wait for the official info. Lenovo has already confirmed that the Legion 2 Pro will ship with a 6,92-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED 144Hz display.

Additionally, Master Lu's benchmarks have shown that the display resolution will be 1080 x 2460 pixels, i.e. FHD+, with an aspect ratio of 20,5:9. Under the hood, the Legion 2 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset and will come paired with 12GB, 128GB/12GB and 256GB/16GB RAM/Storage.

Other expected specs include a dual-turbo cooling fan, running Android 11, and more. We'll wait for more teasers next week.
