Design
POCO X3 provides better design because it is built with higher quality materials. The back is made of Gorilla Glass 5 and the bezel is made of aluminum. In addition, the phone is thinner at just 7,8mm thick and even lighter as it weighs only 196 grams. Last but not least, the camera module design is definitely more elegant. The POCO X3 Pro has a plastic body, it is thicker and heavier than its rival. But you have to consider that the POCO X3 Pro is IP53 certified, which protects the phone from dust and splashes.
Display
The POCO F3 is superior even when it comes to display, with a huge difference in image quality. The POCO F3 has an AMOLED panel for brighter colors and deeper blacks; Plus, it has a higher peak brightness of 1300 nits and is HDR10 + certified. The POCO X3 Pro has a mid-range IPS panel with less impressive colors and lower brightness. Despite having an AMOLED display, the POCO F3 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, just like the POCO X3 Pro.
Technical specifications and software
The POCO X3 Pro has high-end hardware, but the POCO F3 is better again thanks to a more powerful processor. We're talking about Snapdragon 870, which sits in the middle between Snapdragon 865+ and Snapdragon 888, delivering the highest performance. The POCO X3 Pro has a Snapdragon 860 chipset, which is essentially a rebrand of the Snapdragon 855+. The POCO F3 supports 5G connectivity, while the X3 Pro does not. The memory configurations are the same, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage. Please note that the POCO X3 Pro has expandable storage while the POCO F3 does not have a micro SD slot.
Camera
Cameras are the weakest point of these phones. Unlike hardware, these cameras are far from high-end sensors. You get a low to mid-range camera setup with both the POCO F3 and X3 Pro. The former has a better macro camera but no depth sensor, while the latter has a depth sensor but an inferior macro camera. The main sensor and ultra-wide cameras are the same. Both phones have a 20MP selfie camera, but with different focal apertures: the F3 has a brighter focal aperture, so it should be able to snap selfies better.

Battery
The POCO X3 Pro has a larger battery than the POCO F3, and given that it doesn't support 5G, it should deliver longer battery life in many scenarios. The POCO F3 has a more efficient display, but it doesn't seem to be enough to close the gap between the two batteries. Regardless, the POCO F3 should still provide one day of use. Both phones support 33W fast charging and lack wireless charging.
Price
The POCO F3 has a starting price of € 369 / $ 435 for the European market, while the POCO X3 Pro starts at € 249 / $ 293 (but you can find it for just € 199 thanks to the promotion). Even though the X3 Pro has a big battery, the POCO F3 is a much better phone thanks to a better AMOLED display, premium design, better chipset, 5G connectivity, and slightly better cameras. However, keep in mind that the POCO X3 Pro is the most affordable flagship of the latest generation and it can save you a lot of money while maintaining a great user experience.
