The OTA update with firmware version V12.1.1.0.RJDCNXM is rolling out to Redmi K30S Ultra users in China. This update contains a stable version of MIUI based on Android 11... Deployment started a few days ago for selected usersand Xiaomi seems to be expanding deployment with today.

If you remember, Redmi K30S Ultra (i.e. Extreme Commemorative Edition) at launch shipped with MIUI 12.0 based on Android 10 out of the box. Despite being part of the weekly MIUI builds based on Android 11 in China, it is receiving the update to Android 11 with a delay compared to the Mi 10T in India.

Anyway, this update includes the MIUI 12.1 interface and it is still not the latest MIUI 12.5. Compared to this, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, a device two years old, has already started receiving the stable MIUI 12.5 update in China.

Xiaomi has started a stable rollout of this new incremental UI in its country recently, and devices such as the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Mi 11 are among the first to it.

Going back to the past, this is the first major update to the Redmi K30S Ultra, so the device hasn't disappeared from the list of Xiaomi devices just yet. Speaking of which, this is one of 28 devices receiving the MIUI 12.5 update in the first wave in China, so expect the rollout to kick off anytime.
