Realme hosted a product launch conference today, unveiling the highly anticipated realme GT Neo smartphone. This device was the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 1200 processor. Along with the smartphone, Realme also introduced the Buds Air2 ANC headphones for the Chinese market. 
The Realme Buds Air2 TWS earbuds were first released in India this February. The device uses a design language similar to the Buds Air Pro design language that first hit the market in October 2020. The characteristics of both earbuds are also similar.
The earbuds are equipped with ANC (Active Noise Canceling), like most of the high quality earbuds that have hit the market lately. Headphones are able to reduce ambient noise by up to 25 dB and filter out most low-frequency sounds.
As an added bonus, these truly wireless earbuds support Low Latency Mode for gaming sessions. When enabled, this mode lowers latency to 88ms, making it suitable for gaming. It also supports ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) for calls. The use of dual microphones on the two earbuds also contributes to a clearer conversation.
In addition, Realme Buds Air2 uses a dedicated R2 chip that helps extend battery life by 80% and reduce latency by 35%. Each is equipped with a large 10mm dynamic unit and a flagship diamond-like diaphragm. Compared to the traditional diaphragm, the in-ear headphones provide richer bass, clearer sound and better frequency response.
In terms of battery life, the Buds Air 2 can deliver 5 hours of playtime on a single charge. With a charger, the headset can work up to 25 hours without recharging. Finally, 10 minutes of charging is said to provide 2 hours of playtime, while TWS takes up to 2 hours to fully charge. 
You also get smart touch controls, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual channel functions. The earbuds also support IPX5 water resistance, making them suitable for use during workouts.
In terms of price, the Realme Buds Air2 will be on sale in China for 299 Yuan (~ $ 45). It looks like Rs. Price 3299 (~ $ 46) which it accepts in India. The headphones are available in Closer Black and Closer White.
