Samsung Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G receive One UI 3.1 update (Android 11)

Samsung, which yesterday released the 5 Galaxy A7x and A2021x versions of the smartphones, has begun rolling out a new update to its predecessors. Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G are now receiving the One UI 3.1 update (Android 11).

Please note that the Verizon version of these devices has already received One UI 3.0 updates based on Android 11 last month. However, it did not launch in other regions. Today the company is releasing firmware updates with version A516NKSU3CUC4 for Galaxy A51 5G and A716SKSU3CUC4 for Galaxy A71 5G in Korea.

Completion of beta testing and deployment of a stable version has been confirmed in the forums Samsung communities Korea, followed by screen shots of users confirming the arrival of One UI 3.1.

One UI 3.1 was introduced with Galaxy S21 and offers many features such as a redesigned user interface, Private Share, GPS location data deletion in images, additional lock screen widgets, background video calls, improved stock apps, and more.

In this case, Galaxy A51 5G и Galaxy A71 5G, unlike the US, received One UI 3.1 directly in Korea. Therefore, you can expect the same for other regions. By the way, the update, which includes the March 2021 security patch, may take several days before it gets reflected to everyone, so keep that in mind.

However, if you live in Korea, you can check for updates by going to Settings> Software update> Download and install. In the US, expect devices to get the incremental One UI 3.1 soon.
