OPPO has published its ColorOS 11 global update plan for March 2021. According to this OPPO F15 was supposed to receive a stable update only from March 17th in India. However, the user update comes out ahead of schedule.
An OTA update with firmware version CPH2001_11_F.10 appears to be rolling out to users in India. It brings ColorOS 11.1 based on stable Android 11 OPPO F15... The update seems to have already started rolling out to users from March 12th. However, it will take several days to reach all of them.
This happened after the company released a stable update. Android 11 for OPPO Reno2 F and Reno 10X Zoom devices. It's also worth noting that the OPPO F15 received the ColorOS 11 Beta back in January.
Since this is a budget device, this could be the last major upgrade for the OPPO F15. This is because the device was launched with ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. It later received an Android 10 update with ColorOS 7 on top.
In any case, it is clear that OPPO is presenting two major updates to the device it has released with the chipset Helio P70... OPPO has well prepared updates this year and we expect this momentum to continue.
