New smartphone Sony labeled "Sony A003SO" appeared in the Geekbench test platform database. The listing suggests it could be a Japanese version of the rumored Xperia 10 III.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the mysterious Sony A003SO smartphone is equipped with 6GB of RAM and Android 11. The phone uses a Qualcomm chipset, codenamed "lito", with a base clock of 1,80 GHz. It scored 601 and 1821 points in Geekbench's single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

According to Sumahoinfo, Sony A003O may be the model number of the Japanese version of the rumored Xperia 10 III. It's not easy to identify the chipset by its codename lito, but there is a possibility that it could be the Snapdragon 600 chipset. Recent reports have claimed that the upcoming Xperia 10 III will ship with the Snapdragon 690 5G chipset. Therefore, there is a possibility that A003S0 could be an Xperia 10 III phone.

Reliable analyst Steve Hemmershtoffer released CAD renders of the Xperia 10 III phone last month. Rendering revealed that it measures 154,4 x 68,4 x 8,3mm and has a 6-inch screen with large bezels around it. The phone will be equipped with dual front-facing speakers and a side fingerprint scanner. The design of the Xperia 10 III won't be much different from its predecessor Xperia 10 II.

The main camera of the Xperia 10 III is equipped with a 12-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Sony is expected to announce the Xperia 10 III in February. It is likely that the company may announce the flagship Xperia I 111 with a Snapdragon 888 processor and a mid-range Xperia L5 with a chipset Helio P35 v with the Xperia 10 III.
