Android 11 Soak Test (Beta) Starts For Motorola Moto G Power

Motorola recently rolled out the Android 11 update for the Moto G Pro in the UK. This is the first Motorola device to feature the latest version of Android. Now report on XDA forum suggests Moto G Power will get it soon.

As Piunikaweb reports, a post on the XDA forums posted by senior contributor ice711 shows a glimpse of Android 11 in the settings menu Moto g power... He says he received the update as he is part of the Motorola Feedback Network (MFN).

For those who don't know, this is a group of users in the community selected to test new features before they become available to everyone. You can view this old the publication of Visit the Lenovo Community Forums for an overview. The aging test, as the company likes to call it, is initially distributed to select MFN users.

Anyway, Android 11 update with software version RPM31.Q1-46 is rolling out to MFN users with the latest security patch from January 2021. Talking about the improvements, the user says that after the update, Moto G Power runs smoother, faster and has longer battery life.

Similar to G Power, the company is also testing 2019 Soak devices such as Motorola one action, Motorola One Vision и Motorola one hyper... However, with this update, the company is keeping pace with the Android 11 schedule released back in December 2020. Except for older ones like Moto G7, G8, E6 series and One Zoom, the devices mentioned above should get it soon.

In any case, we don't have a stable version of Android 11 for Moto G Power yet. However, as the soak test is already underway, look forward to it soon. In case you don't know, Moto G Power was released back in February 2020 for $ 249,99.
