OPPO CPH2205 with Helio P95 spotted on Geekbench

Earlier this month phone OPPO with model number CPH2205 has been spotted on the FCC certification platform. The FCC list revealed the back of the phone along with some features. The CPH2205 phone has appeared on Geekbench today (via. Abhishek Yadav)to show its processor and RAM size.

The Geekbench 5 listing of OPPO CPH2205 shows that it is powered by the MediaTek MT6779 / CV chipset, which is believed to be the SoC Helio P95. The listing also states that it has 6GB of RAM and comes pre-installed on Android 11 OS.

FCC exterior revealed it is a 4G LTE phone with a 4310mAh battery. It's unclear if it supports fast charging. Connectivity features such as dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were found in the phone.

The OPPO CPH2205 has a 159mm screen size, which suggests that it has a 6,2-inch display. The phone measures 160,1 x 73,32 mm. On the back of the phone is a rectangular camera body that includes a 48MP quad-camera system and LED flash. It looks like it has an LCD panel as it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The device will ship with the latest version of ColorOS 11.1 user interface preinstalled.

Unfortunately, the CPH2205's identity remains hidden. Another OPPO phone with model number CPH2203 was recently approved by Singapore's IMDA authorities. The listing revealed that the device will be marketed under the name OPPO A94. There is a possibility that the CPH2203 could be the country's variant of the CPH2205. However, there is no confirmation of this yet. Therefore, it is advisable to await further reports to find out the final product name of the CPH2205.
