Back in October 2019, Lenovo-owned Motorola released a budget smartphone called Motorola One Macro in India. This phone debuted with Android 9.0 Pie when Android 10 was already released. Now, more than a year after its release, the phone has finally received the Android 10 update as other devices have started receiving Android 11 .
Motorola was once known for releasing faster updates. Sometimes the company released monthly security patches even earlier than Google. But over time, the firm's update shipments have deteriorated over the years. Unfortunately, OnePlus also meets the same fate.
However, the brand has been postponing the update for a very long time. Android 10 for Motorola One Macro. But now the update is finally available in India with build number QMD30.47-19.
It weighs in at about 1,46 GB and is shipped in batches. At the moment, it looks like it is only available to users who participated in the beta program (excerpt testing). But the build should be available to other users in the coming days.
Anyway, if you own this phone, go to Settings to check if your device has received the Android 10 update.
