Yesterday, Lenovo unveiled the Motorola Edge S in China as the first flagship killer smartphone of 2021. This phone is also the world's first device powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. During the day after its debut, rumors of an Indian launch of this phone began to surface.
According to an informant titled Debayan Roy ( @Gadgetsdata [19459003] ), Motorola owned by Lenovo , can launch a completely new Motorola [19459003] Edge S in India in mid to late February. That's not all, in the same month the company may announce a smartphone of the Moto G series.

With that said, according to the latest leaked Motorola Edge S before its launch, the company will release a second variant, codenamed "Tahoe". This version is said to debut as a Moto G100 based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, instead of the new Snapdragon 870 found in Edge S, codenamed 'Nio'.
Also, since Lenovo releases the same phone with different brand names in different markets, we are not sure under what name Motorola edge s [19459002] will be launched in India. Also, while it starts at ¥ 1999 ($ 309) in China, it may cost a little more in India, but it should be one of the flagship chipset smartphones available nonetheless.
