OnePlus 7T / 7T Pro will finally receive the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 update based on Android 11

The new public beta update for the OnePlus 7T series includes more than Android 11 but also new ]OxygenOS 11 features. Any user can install this update by downloading the appropriate file from OnePlus Community ... However, it will erase the phone data, but the company announced that it will soon release new builds that will not erase data.

Speaking of new features, the first major update for the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro includes a new UI design for the system as well as third-party apps such as OnePlus Camera. The camera app also has some useful extras like HEVC support, quick sharing, video recording and zoom gesture, and time-lapse playback display.

Unfortunately, AOD (Always-on Display) is still in development and so it only works when the phone is picked up or pressed on its screen. However, the brand has added a new style to the Insight and Canvas watches.

Other features include a keyboard shortcut and scheduling options for dark mode, a redesigned shelf with an animated weather widget, and a history feature in Gallery.

However, since this is a beta version, this update may contain a number of bugs. But luckily you can revert to the old stable build OXYGEN 10 by downloading and installing the appropriate rollback file. However, this process will clear your phone's internal storage.
