Over the past two years, the tech industry has seen a gradual proliferation of foldable phones. Several OEMs are working on their own models, but the leaders are Samsung, Motorola и Huawei. Xiaomi also has some work in progress, but since 2019, when he was first teased, nothing concrete has been found. This may soon change once the device, which is called a foldable phone, is leaked on the net. 
The device was seen in the hands of a user on a subway in China. It is similar to what the vice president of Xiaomi showed a few years ago, but this device has a larger display. The device, which looks like an engineering prototype, is, as it were, disguised with a protective casing.
However, from the fold line on the screen, we can tell that the device uses an n-fold design similar to the Galaxy Z Fold. The device is also shown to be running MIUI 12 OS.
Judging by the size of the device, we suspect it will be quite bulky even when folded. But then it could be one of several foldable phone prototypes that Xiaomi is working on.

Last year, there were rumors that the Xiaomi foldable phone was likely to drop out this year and will be available in three different designs. Foldable phones are said to come in three different forms of industrial design, namely exterior fold, interior fold, and clamshell. 
Xiaomi's foldable phones are rumored to use Samsung's UTG (Ultra Thin Flexible Glass) technology. The current engineering machine is said to support 90Hz refresh rates, but it is expected to be upgraded to support 120Hz refresh rates in the future.
According to previous revelations, these three flip-up screen devices are due to meet us this year, let's wait and see.
