The re-release of Mi A3 Android 11 fixes the brick problem

Some Mi A3 users who upgraded their devices to Android 11 a few days ago have probably faced a small "Worry" attack. The update, which was sudden but unfinished, made many devices dead, essentially solid bricks. Xiaomi re-released the update today and it does not have this issue.

We are A3

First of all, we would like to apologize to our readers for the delay in updating this news. Although people started reporting the second update Android 11 on the internet, we had to make sure for ourselves that it avoids further heart beats.

However, our device received an update with build number 12.0.3.0.RFQMIXM and weighs in at about 1,40 GB. The changelog is the same as in the first update and shows typical features of Android 11. In addition, the update contains the December 2020 security patch.

The device is successfully upgraded to a newer version of Android upon upgrade. So far, there are no major bugs in the update either. Below are some of the screenshots so you can be sure that it is protected from major issues, and this time you can safely try:

It's also worth noting that this update is for those who, thankfully, haven't pulled the trigger before. This means that if you've already updated your device, it should die. In this case, all you can do is visit one of the 2000+ Mi service centers across the country. Xiaomi has also promised to repair the devices for free.

Xiaomi has bypassed the Mi A3 so far when it comes to update priorities. Some time ago, the company mistakenly rolled out the Mexican firmware into the Global variant, in which the SIM function is disabled. Before that, users literally had to sign a petition to draw attention to the delay in updating the old one. Android 10.

Since there are already two major Android updates released, we really hope the company doesn't repeat its mistake with future security updates.
