Samsung introduces new design measures for its upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 2021 phone. These measures represent a clear departure from the current scenario of successive models ranked higher than base models and could aim to stabilize the brand in an unfavorable and debilitating global business environment in 2020. The smartphone lineup, slated for release in 2021, starts with the Galaxy S21, which is scheduled to launch in January 2021, and the Galaxy Z Fold3 in mid-2020. The Z Fold3 will be the flagship of the South Korean company in the second half of 2020. 
A recent report says the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which will be a 5G compatible smartphone, could be equipped with a mid-range chipset that could significantly lower the price of the flagship device. and make it the most affordable foldable today.

A report released by the Samsung Galaxy Club lists the suggested model number for the next Galaxy Z Flip as SM-F720F. Explanation of symbols is required. While the 'F' means the model is an international variant, the absence of the 'B' means this new model will not have 5G capabilities. This means the Z Flip3 will sit lower than its base models and predecessors, including the Z Flip, which all used Snapdragon 800 chipsets.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was priced at $ 1449 at the time of release, while the Z Fold2 was priced at $ 1999. It is not yet known how much the price will change depending on the choice of the new chipset, and how much lower the price of the Z Flip3 will be.
However, even if Samsung wanted to make “mid-range foldable” something, we can't imagine prices in the current market dropping to three-digit numbers.
