Xiaomi began closed beta registrations of MIUI 12.5 for 21 models

Xiaomi will introduce Xiaomi Mi 11 later today at 19:30 pm (local time) in China. The same event will be used to announce MIUI 12.5. It will be announced as an updated version of MIUI 12, which officially arrived in China back in April. From today, the company has started closed beta registrations for MIUI 12.5.

The MIUI 12.5 Closed Beta is now available for 21 models through the "Early Access" registration process. Users in China who want to try MIUI 12.5 must sign up for the official MIUI WeChat account and click "Early Access" to participate in registration. After the application is submitted, it will be reviewed and the MIUI 12.5 Closed Beta will be available for installation.

21 models eligible for MIUI 12.5 include Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi mi 10 ultra, Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition, Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30i 5G v, Redmi K30S Ultra, Redmi K30 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Xiaomi Mi CC9e , Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro 5G [19459003], Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 7 и Notes redmi 7 Pro.

Devices such as Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G uh, Xiaomi Mi CC9, Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, Redmi Notes 9 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 8 и Notes redmi 8 Pro not included in the first batch eligible for the MIUI 12.5 Closed Beta.

Reports have shown that MIUI 12.5 will bring several improvements such as better privacy protection, cleaner user interface, new animations, and more. Last week Xiaomi MIUI Turkey confirmed that it will release the final and stable version of MIUI 12.5 in the domestic market at the end of February.
