The GPD Win 2 handheld game console has become one of the brand's most successful products. The device will soon receive a successor as GPD is preparing its Win 3 gaming laptop for launch as part of its Indiegogo crowdfunding soon. The preview page is already available on the Indiegogo site .
GDP Win 3 is expected to start at $ 799 and retain the portable form factor that Win 2 is famous for. The gaming PC will run Windows 10 and have a gamepad integrated into the hardware.
The device will be equipped with a 5,5-inch display with HD 720p resolution. Below the display is a keyboard that can be used by sliding the screen up. The device also integrates a gamepad with two joysticks, four triggers, directional keys and four function buttons. In order to take care of heating, the gaming PC has vents on the back and an exhaust vent on the top. It also has a USB-A port, power button, headphone jack, and built-in microphone. At the bottom is the USB-C Thunderbolt 4.0 port and speakers. The unit also features two customizable buttons on the back of the controller handles that also provide rumble feedback.

GPD Win3 will be powered by the latest 5th Generation Intel Core i11 processor (2,4-4,2 GHz), while the later version will feature a Core i7 SoC (2,8-4,7 GHz). The processor is paired with 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 1TB of built-in PCIe 3.0 SSD. Intel Xe GPU runs graphics. The portable laptop will also have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and microSD card support.
In addition to being able to play games on a 720p screen in handheld mode, users can also use a docking station that offers a variety of I / O connections. The dock will offer external display support via HDMI 2.0b, 1Gbps Ethernet, USB-C X1, USB-A X3.
Win 3 will be powered by an unknown battery that is expected to last 2-3 hours of intense gaming. With moderate use, it can last 6 to 8 hours, and with light use, it will last up to 11 hours. The device will be charged via a 65W Power Delivery charger.
