In July of this year OPPO first announced the 50W Super VOOC mini charger, known as the cookie charger due to its size. Since then, the product has been elusive as the company has yet to bring it to market. OPPO has started selling the 50W portable mini Super VOOC at Huantai, China (Oppo, Realme and OnePlus co-working).
The OPPO mini Super VOOC 50W charger features an ultra-thin track shape, a large-area polygonal design, and a swing-pin design. The 50W Super Flash charger uses a new charging technology - pulse charging.
The presentation said that compared with the traditional charging method, the pulse charging has a very short charging time, the polarization reaction of the battery will be eliminated, the battery loss is less and the temperature change is also less.
The 50W Ultra Pulse Cookie Charger is a gallium nitride high frequency switch that reduces the transformer's need for single energy storage, thereby reducing the size of the transformer.
OPPO's proprietary ACF (Active Clamp Flyback) control architecture realizes zero voltage (ZVS) and zero current (ZCS) switching, and switching loss is infinitely close to zero.
The 50W Mini SuprVOOC charger is thinner than other similar models on the market at just 1,05cm thick.This charger supports popular fast charging protocols such as Oppo's own SuperVOOC, 27W PD (Power Delivery), 50 W PPS (Programmable Power Supply) and others.
Oppo advertises this charger: small as cookies... It can be carried in all pockets, including trouser, shirt and coat pockets, thanks to the fold-away / retractable pin, and its size.
