A few days ago, Infinix said it would reveal pricing for its entry-level Smart HD 2021 smartphone in India. Today, as promised, the company has officially announced the price and launch date. The company also announced the specs and sales date for its first Android TV in the country.
Infinix Smart HD 2021: Price and Availability, X1 Android TV Sale
The Infinix Smart HD 2021, as stated in a previous report, has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It now costs £5999 ($81,36). The official teaser page on Flipkart says the device will launch on December 16 at 12 pm EST. Given that the specifications and price have already been released, this should be the date of the first sale on Flipkart.
Aside from the entry-level smartphone, Infinix also announced its first Android Smart TV in India. The X1 Android TV, as the company calls it, will go on sale from December 18 in the country. However, the price will most likely be announced at launch, which is December 14th.
Infinix Smart HD 2021 Specifications
The Infinix Smart HD 2021 features a 6,1-inch IPS HD + display with 500 nits brightness. From now on, the resolution will be 1560 × 720 pixels. Under the hood, it will have a 1,2GHz chipset paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 256GB.
Sporty green, blue, dark gray colors, the device also has 8MP cameras on the front and back, a fingerprint sensor on the back, face recognition, a 5000mAh battery, DTS Audio. Although Flipkart does not list the specifications yet, leaked Twitter user (@ technoankit1) reveals that it will be running Android 10 Go Edition.

X1 Android TV Features
X1 Android TV is the company's first smart TV in India. The video posted by the company on Twitter shows the functions and characteristics that the gadget will present. It is already said that the TV will be in 32-inch and 43-inch variants with a 400 nits display.
In addition, the teaser shows a TV with a frameless design. The video reveals that the display on the TV will feature EyeCare technology, TÜV Rheinland certification for blue light reduction and Epic 2.0 Picture Engine with HDR10 and HLG.

For non-software, HDR10 is high dynamic range, while HLG is hybrid log gamma. It is a backwards compatible standard, meaning that content will be encoded to support a wider dynamic range while in the SDR (standard dynamic range) region.
In addition, the teaser also confirms features such as 24W speakers, Dolby Audio, certification Android TV (built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast) with support for OTT apps like Netflix, HBO Now, and more. The X1 Android TV, according to the teaser, will also feature a MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
