Report: Galaxy S21 series to be powered by Exynos 2100 SoC in India; Color options revealed

Yesterday, a leak from India revealed that Samsung will release the Galaxy S21 series on January 14th. According to Samsung Opera House in Bangalore, India, the device will go on sale from January 29 in India, as mentioned in earlier reports. Now, the same store has confirmed that the Indian variant will not have the Snapdragon 888 SoC, as well as the colors of the devices.

Galaxy S21 Series Renders 02

Samsung's flagship retail store reportedly confirmed Android authorities that the entire Galaxy S21 series will be powered by the Exynos 2100 chipset in India. However, Samsung has yet to announce this and will likely do so on December 15th. Early tests showed better multi-core performance compared to the Qualcomm counterpart.

However, it is still a mystery whether the processor will outperform Samsung Qualcomm in real tests. In any case, this will certainly generate interest due to the 5nm process technology and the arrangement of the 1 + 3 + 4 cores. Most likely, these will be 1xPrime cores clocked at 2,91 GHz, 3xPerformance and 4xEfficiency cores with clocks of 2,81 and 2,21. XNUMX GHz respectively.

If you don't know, Samsung will release three models of the S21 series: Galaxy S21 5G, S21+5G, S21Ultra 5G... Either way, the Galaxy S21 series will come in the following color options in India:

  • Galaxy S21 - gray, pink, purple and white.
  • Galaxy S21 More - silver, black, pink and purple.
  • Galaxy s21 ultra - black, silver.

In addition, the store has also confirmed the camera specs of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which have already been leaked. Accordingly, the device will have a 108 MP main camera, 2 × 10 MP sensors (one will have a 10x zoom) and, most likely, a 12 MP sensor.

The device is reportedly ready for pre-orders from the flagship store. Users will have to pay £ 2000 ($ 27) to pre-book the S21 flagship. And after the official announcement, they can choose their preferred model. With all these leaks, I think the only thing left to know is the official prices.
