This is the first report to say the Galaxy S21 series will launch in February, as virtually everyone reported a January launch date. However, we advise our readers to treat all information about the launch date with a grain of salt until there is an official announcement.

It is possible that the release date for the phones was planned for January, but new developments have pushed the date back to February.

Qualcomm has yet to announce the Snapdragon 875 processor that will power the Galaxy S21 series in select markets. Samsung has also not yet presented Exynos 2100that will ship with Exynos variants of the S21 series. The Snapdragon Summit is scheduled for early December and the chipset is due to be announced there, however there are concerns that the processor may not be available early enough for it to start showing up in phones in January.

The Galaxy S21 series includes the standard Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. There will also be a Galaxy S21 FE, but it should arrive much later this year. All phones will support 5G, have displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and run One UI 3 based on Android 11 from the box. It was also reported that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen, a first for the Galaxy S series, but the stylus will have to be purchased separately.
