OnePlus recently released the OxygenOS 11 stable stable update for its flagship OnePlus 8 series. And now it looks like the company is individually updating apps to keep them in line with the latest UI. OnePlus Gallery 4.0.77 is now rolling out through the Google Play Store with UI changes, functionality and more.
As the 9to5Google (across xda developers), a new update for the OnePlus Gallery app is available to all OnePlus users. This means that users of older versions OXYGEN и Android can enjoy the new user interface. Accordingly, OnePlus users can update to the latest version (4.0.77) in the Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can try downloading the extracted APK from third party sites like APKMirror... Major change in the user interface. Unlike OxygenOS 10, the new user interface is focused on one-handed operation and accessibility.
Change interface, launch speed and other parameters
Previously, options such as Photos, Collections, and Browse were displayed as a tile at the bottom. Now, three new stories like the panel share the menu and can be accessed by swiping on either side. Also, the menu title is larger and scales up and down as you swipe down and up. While it looks like it's inspired by Samsung's One UI, the availability of options is a welcome change. However, few users are reported to experience issues such as app crashes, delays, and missing photos. However, we expect OnePlus to resolve this issue quickly before it gets out of hand. OnePlus is constantly updating the OnePlus Gallery app with many new features. The last version before that was version 3.13.33 which added Nord series support, slow motion editor, etc. Earlier versions added broadcast options, added 4K 60fps editing options, integrated Google Lens and more.
